Colleen Fox Sturdivant (also known as Coco) started working with Strong Tomorrows after living and teaching in Madrid, Spain. She is bilingual and is very passionate about continuing to learn the Spanish language. Colleen has bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Strategic Communication from the University of Kansas. After working as a Site Coordinator for over 4 years, Coco became our Program Developer and now serves as our Expansion Program Manager. In this role, Coco oversees our services at Union Public Schools and is responsible for our social media, marketing, branding and events. Her favorite memory with Strong Tomorrows is delivering caps and gowns to students who never thought they could graduate and telling them how proud she is of them. She loves to see the confidence in students when they realize their potential and truly achieve their goals. Coco loves the daily interactions with students and hearing about what is happening to help them better navigate the different aspects of their lives.
